The Friends of Erlestoke Prison was established in 2011 to support offenders with the challenges of resettlement and rehabilitation. We fund projects which:
- Help offenders face up to the impact of their crimes
- Help offenders develop skills and behaviours which will help them to find employment
- Bring fathers closer to their families, especially those with children
- Improve prisoner health and well-being
- Raise local awareness about the work of the prison

Thank you to the National Lottery who have funded our Transport Service helping friends and families to visit their loved ones in HMP Erlestoke
And huge congratulations to Storybook Dads who won the Children and Youth category award at the 2024 Charity Awards. We are so proud to be working with Storybook Dads in HMP Erlestoke helping prisoners to record bedtime stories for their children, for them to listen to or watch whenever they want.
